I have to admit I was rather anti-flowers, if only because I think they are sort of a rip-off and really were not a MUST HAVE for the day. I knew I had to get some sort of flowers for the bridesmaids, because they were sort of insisting on them. I went and got a few quotes from florists and..........it was absolutely ridiculous.

I was pretty set on having to DIY from fresh flowers order through Publix, until I found these silk flowers from Michael's. They were already pre-cut to a short length and created exactly what I wanted. I ended up making the bridesmaid's bouquets and went out that day to buy more of the flowers because I loved them so much. For $40 I made the three bouquets and four boutonnieres. My mom actually ended up buying a couple of these bouquets from Michael's because she knew what I was looking for. I used these to make the nosegays for my mom, Matt's mom, and my stepmom. I threw together a few random arrangements that I think I will use on the guestbook table and gift table. I have a few more of these around and plan on giving them to my mom to decorate with when we get to the venue on the wedding morning.
