Table Numbers

Picture
Matt and I travel pretty frequently and take pictures constantly, when we do. I had seen this idea of naming tables instead of numbering before and really liked it. I ended up printing these as 5"x7" prints from Snapfish. I have 5"x7" picture frames that we will use for these.

We will be using photos from all these trips to make up a photobook for our guest book.

Sweetheart Table Mock-up

Picture
This table includes a homemade table runner, a burgundy chair sash ($1 from efavormart.com), a brown napkin ($2.50 for a 4-pack), a shimmery champagne ($2.50 for a 4-pack), a couple of hand painted led candles, Dollar Tree frame with our names on the champagne cardstock (beautiful shimmery cardstock from paperandmore.com), and the only two  larger mosiac centerpieces we bought in March. The flowers are my DIY bouquet that I plan on using as part of the decoration after the ceremony.

Centerpieces

I knew from the get go, that I really did not want to spend our budget on flowers. I seriously have not even looked for a florist. My mom understood this, so one day we went out to run some errands, actually looking for a wedding gift for my cousin (he didn't register). We ended up in this little knick knack store - Dockside Imports. We wandered around and saw these on sale for $4. They had 15 of these and 2 that were larger (for a little more). I decided on the spot to buy them all. My mom actually got the lady to give us the more expensive ones for same price.

Not the best mosiac but for the price, I thought it was a good deal. We're putting LED candles in vase. There will be two per table (small wedding).

Cake Table Centerpiece

We're not doing a traditional big pretty cake. I actually don't like cake and couldn't swallow (ha-ha) the idea of spending all that money on something I don't like. We were going to just have our caterer provide mixed desserts (canoli, cookies, etc), until my stepmom offered to make cheesecake for the wedding. Her cheesecake is amazing and free! So, I automatically said yes. Since cheesecake has to stay refrigerated, the cake table will be empty until dinner time. I bought this tea light holder for $10 at TJ Maxx on a whim. It looks a lot darker, but it is brown. I am considering sponging on a little gold paint to brighten it up.

Those are LED tealights which are going to be used in other parts of the decoration. They came in bright white but I sponge painted them all brown and then sponged on a little gold paint. I got 10 for $5 at the $5 Deals store (a nicer version of a Dollar Tree). Then I spent about $5 on the brown and gold acrylic paint from Michael's.

Cake Topper

Picture
Even though we don't have a traditional cake, I am considering getting a topper. This is the only topper that I have liked so far. It's from Etsy (byapryl).

Table Linens

Picture
Our caterer will be providing ivory linens, but I wanted a little something else for our table. I never considered getting more tablecloths, because that would be way too expensive. I saw other people had made tablerunners out of fabric and was heavily considering doing that. However, I was at Ross one day and found two large tablecloths (the fabric on the left). Cut up, each tablecloth will make a 13"x120" runner. I have only made two so far, because it takes about 45 minutes for me to cut and then hem with the iron stitch stuff. They do look very nice and I am sure will hold up for the night.

I bought the brown fabric (napkins) at Ross also for about $2 for a pack of 4. I am going to put one on the table as a contrasting piece of fabric.

Card Box

Picture
If I wasn't having a wedding where I didn't know absolutely everyone, I would have looked into a more secure box. However, our reception will only be hosting our wedding and I know everyone who is invited, so getting any sort of box was easy. We pretty much bought this on a whim too. It matches our style, is big enough, and will get used post-wedding. This was another inexpensive TJ Maxx purchase.

Favors

Picture
I know some people don't believe in favors, but I don't think it will hurt. I bought these little brown boxes from Michael's with a 50% off coupon. I'm planning on putting M&M's in each one, to be cutesy, since M&M are our initials.
